Our Story

LCJ Companies prides itself on being a family owned and operated real estate company with a successful history since 1981.

Originally founded as the Washburn Group in 1981 by brothers Larry, Charles, and James, LCJ still retains the same values and expertise the company was founded on years ago.

The company transformed into LCJ Companies in 2004 as the next generation of Washburn’s took over management and daily operations. The company is now led by cousins Jim Washburn and Craig Washburn.

LCJ has a growing portfolio of multifamily properties under management across the State of Texas.  Additionally, LCJ continually has construction and development projects ongoing spanning the Gulf Coast Region and Southern United States.  Notable past projects have been completed in Texas (San Antonio, Austin, Greater Houston (including Kemah/Galveston)), Florida, and Virginia.
